Ingredients  (per portion)

  • half tin of butterbeans 
  • half small clove of garlic, crushed 
  • 2 sprigs thyme leaves
  • 130ml single cream 

Method

  1. Drain the butterbeans and place in a saucepan.
  2. Ass the thyme garlic and cream. Mix well and simmer gently for 5 minutes or so until the liquid has reduced a fair bit.
  3. Using a potato masher gently crush the butterbeans. 
  4. Simmer the mixture until it is thick but still fairly liquid. ..
